Hello! I'm Kathy Bohlken, of Knoxville, Tennessee and I am the new chairman of the Young Women in Mission Committee. I look forward to meeting the three young women who attended our district convention in Memphis in 2024. These young women now comprise the Young Women in Mission Committee. They are Haley Robertson, Tabitha Ochoa, and Mackenzie Drozd. Thank you for continuing to serve the Lord with Gladness! The YWR area is a new one for me, and I am praying that previous experiences as a district secretary and zone president will help. It also happens that my husband, a retired Pastor, once received funds from a district mission grant. As a retired LCMS teacher, I have taught students from high school home economics down to two-year-olds in Sunday school. We have three grown children and six grandchildren, who live near us and often need care or a ride. For fun, I love to sew, do hand embroidery, and Pilates! |
