BACKGROUND HISTORY

Packaging:

* Virgin laser inkjet cartridges only, not remanufactured ones. No ink tanks
* Please send at least 10 (minimum) laser cartridges per label box. Please Pack 20 inkjet cartridges per box.
* You can combine injets and lasers in one shipment if youmeet a complementary combination of the two minimums.
* Please be sure cartridges are packed well and not over packed. Ensure that the cartridges will not knock against each other during   shipping. This may require individual wrapping of each cartridge.
They are remanufacturing the cartridges we send them and they cannot pay for cartridges that arrive broken/damaged. We have paid for a box load shippment that arrived unusable.

 

Shipping:

* You do not have to weigh the packages.
* Inform Alta Ebert via E-mail at altaebert@comcast.net about how many boxes need to be sent.
* She will send the labels and you put them on the box and call UPS. They will pick them up; no charge to you.
* You can check on www.emptysolution.com what cartridges are refundable.

 Start-up History

The history behind it is the OKC National Convention. It was started to generate money to fund the 2003 national convention. When the convention was over,(first convention not to go in the hole)there was almost $10,000 left of the $47,000+ raised from recycling. This was divided and 1/2 of this was given to Mid-South District, since we co-hosted the convention with Oklahoma. They had the space for the convention but not enough people to put it over. We provided much manpower. At the Memphis convention Ruth Ebert came up to the new President, Martha Bergeron, and offered to coordinate the recycling program; Martha was very happy! What a wonderful job Ruth has done. When one supplier opted out, she found another right away. The ladies that save the cartridges deserve much of the credit for taking time to either send them to Ruth or mail them out themselves. How much longer this will last is anyones quess. This money was used to help the needy this past year. We did not just stick it in the bank to do nothing. That is not what the Lord expects of HIS people. He expects us to use our gifts to give back to HIM. This is HIS money!
